I’m so glad you’re interested in our school, because it’s a pretty amazing place. Where else can you get excellent academic preparation for college while at the same time learning how to make a difference in the world? Where else can you so authentically experience the kind of diversity that exists when you live and work with people from all over the country and the world, people who are eager to draw you into the warmth of their community and challenge you to challenge yourself? Where else does a school live its mission so fully, where its Quaker values are applied on a daily basis to 21^st century initiatives such as developing a social consciousness, learning in ways that are “green” and “global,” and where it’s expected that you’ll lead—in the classroom, on the playing fields, in community and on dorm, and through service to others?
