Middle School
Middle School includes grades 6 through 8. There are three sections at each grade level with 16 - 19 students per section.
The Admissions Process
Request an Information Packet and an application by either filling out our on-line request for information, contacting the admissions office at 610-399-7900 or by e-mail at admissions@westtown.edu. You will receive these materials at an Open House, if you have not previously received them.
Attend an Open House to become familiar with our programs and facilities. If it is inconvenient for you to attend an Open House, contact Ronnie Montgomery, Associate Director of Admissions, at 610-399-7904 to arrange a tour.
Complete the Application and return it with a non-refundable $50.00 application fee to the Admissions Office as soon as possible.
After the application is received, you will be sent a Request for Transcript and Confidential School Report, a Teacher Recommendation Form, a Student and Parent Questionnaire. Please take the Request for Transcript and Teacher Recommendation with the envelopes provided to your child's school. The forms should be filled out by the principal or guidance counselor and your child's teacher and returned directly to Westtown School. On the Student Questionnaire, students are asked to answer a variety of questions about their interests and goals. On the parent questionnaire, parents are asked to write briefly about their goals for their child. These forms should be mailed directly to the Admissions Office at Westtown School.
The Admissions Office will contact you to schedule an appointment for a visit. All candidates visit the middle school for a full day. Student hosts take visitors with them to their classes. During the visit, your child will meet with our school psychologist for approximately 45 minutes for a math test, a writing sample and a variety of other sub-tests to assist us in determining your child's developmental readiness for our program. Parents will have an opportunity to meet with the Associate Director of Admissions during the visiting day.
