Quakerism Resources
The unique experience of Quaker worship is a regular practice here; each week, students and teachers enter the meetinghouse on campus at the appointed hour. They sit in thoughtful silence knowing that at any moment one of the individuals present, student or teacher, may stand and share a thought, a question, an idea or a feeling with the entire group. When silence resumes there is time for reflection on what has been said. Quakers believe that in silent worship, it is possible to sense the presence of God moving in our hearts.
