A healthy competitive spirit starts with play. And at Westtown, everyone participates and improves.
First,
Lower School games teach students to cooperate, problem-solve, and work as a team. In
Middle School, students participate in interscholastic sports, discovering their natural interests and abilities and developing greater skill and confidence. In
Upper School, students progress to the next appropriate level within Westtown’s strong, wide-ranging athletic program, which includes 21 competitive varsity teams.
At Westtown, students learn to win games and stay healthy. They also learn how to lead, be good sports, rally from a loss, take positive risks, and achieve individual and team goals. And as they grow, they gain the discipline and self-confidence that carries them through league games, championships, college athletics, and, ultimately, life.
