Experience in the arts is crucial to a student's education. The Upper School Arts program develops and expands students' skills while fostering self-confidence and respect for others' work. Opportunities exist to participate in various artistic endeavors, including taking a studio art class, performing with the school orchestra, or acting in one of the many plays that are staged throughout the school year. Students have many opportunities to experience art and develop their talents both within the curriculum and outside of it. Many artists also visit and perform at the school: recent guests include musician David Bromberg, juggler Michael Moschen, and art expert Victoria Wyeth.
