Senior Projects

A privilege accorded by the Faculty of Westtown School to qualified seniors since 1968, the Senior Project challenges students to take ownership of and have a powerful voice in their education and development as learners and individuals. Whether the focus is sampling a potential career, finding an opportunity to participate in an extended community service project, or exploring a deep personal interest, Senior Projects give students the opportunity to create an independent experience, away from the familiar classroom setting, with a focus on independent inquiry and personal growth.

The Senior Project is an opportunity for students to discover and demonstrate what they know, what they can accomplish and how they have grown through experiential learning, and to share their achievements with peers, faculty, parents, alumni and the wider community.

The Senior Project is a capstone to learning in the Westtown community and an entryway to postsecondary pursuits
