Founded in 2003, the Westtown Robotics team is part of US FIRST (For Inspiration and Recognition of Science & Technology), an organization which celebrates achievement in science and technology. The Westtown team, #1391, is one of thousands of teams across the world. Westtown Robotics team members work with mentors from industry to solve game challenges using real world applications of science and technology. Being a part of the Robotics team allows students to practice interdisciplinary cooperation, develop business, leadership and communication skills, and enjoy creative problem solving in a team environment.
