3rd Grade

Welcome to Third Grade! Third grade is a time to explore ourselves and our uniqueness, as well as the world around us. Third grade is also a time for community building, self-awareness, and to celebrate people and their differences. Throughout the school year, we focus on the class as a community of individual learners who come together to share experiences and learn from one another.

Our core curriculum includes a geography focus, which allows us to study cultures of the world with the goal of creating students who have a better understanding of diverse cultures and people. Over the course of the school year, students study three continents: Africa, Asia, and Europe.
