Moosekids
Westtown Lower School's After School Program
Moosekids is a fun-filled program provided for children in Westtown Lower School. The program begins at the close of their classroom day and continues until 6 pm daily. Students in PreK who participate in Moosekids eat their lunch and rest with their Moosekids friends. All Moosekids, grades PreK through 5th, have the opportunity to play games (both indoors and outdoors) and create arts and crafts projects. There is also an opportunity for the older students to begin their homework.

Moose Kids Events
A little bit about some of our activities and events...
Cooking: In Pre-K, Moosekids cook every Tuesday. Our recipes range from tacos to apple turnovers. It is a fun activity filled with explortation and discovery! We talk about different kinds of food, measurement, sharing, and cooperation.
School Break Theme Camps: During School Breaks Moosekids offers different camps with themes. Themes in the past have included "Dinosaur Days," "Summer in December," and "Under the Sea." We use the school pool, gymnasium, and take walks around the Lake during this time.
Clubs: Recently we have addded a new dynamic to Moosekids - clubs. Clubs have included Knitting Club, Chess Club, and French Club. All Lower School children are welcome to join these clubs in addition to Moosekids. These activities happen after school with parent volenteers.
Parent Volunteers: We always welcome parent volenteers. Parents in the past have shared bead making, ornament ideas, and sports.
Upper School Helpers: The Upper School Service Network provides us with high school helpers four days a week. They help with crafts, projects, and games.
