When Westtown Lower School Is Closed or on delayed opening:

KYW radio(1060 AM) will broadcast our closing. The Lower School code is 2864.

Notice of our closing will scroll across the TV screen on Channes 3, 10, and Fox Philadelphia.

Two websites- KYW1060.com and NBC10.com- will have our closing information.

  • For NBC10: Link to the School Closings section in the NewsLinks column and then choose Chester County.
  • For KYW, link to the School Closings section and type in our school code, 2864.

Westtown School's recorded message (610-399-7777) will also have closing information.

When We Are in School and Local School Districts Dismiss Early:

  • Westtown Lower School will remain open for the rest of the school day.
  • The After School Care program will operate as usual.
  • We will try to call you if you have indicated that your child should ride the bus in case of early dismissal.
  • You may pick up your child at any time you think road conditions warrant such a decision.
