Because of Westtown School’s high standards, students learn that “excellence” means not just meeting the bar, but going beyond it—to an incisive question or conclusion, a new look at yourself, a sport you’ve never tried, an art form you’ve not yet explored. We cherish what these young teenagers bring to our school: their bounding energy and the sparkling glimpses of the young adults they soon will become.

One of the best gauges for me is that our daughter has a lot of homework and she loves the school. Whether she’s going into a test or a presentation, she leaves for school very calm and happy. Westtown helps the kids develop their individual strengths but also gives them a sense of community and a connection to the environment. I love the fact that the kids work and take care of the garden, and also that they have worship and a time to reflect.
