Lacrosse - Middle School (Boys)
Overview
Competitive team sports and a vibrant athletic program are central to the Westtown experience. In Middle School, every student (6th - 8th grade) plays on an interscholastic team, all three seasons. We emphasize teamwork and the enjoyment of the sport, with a commitment to each player playing in every game.
The middle school teams play an 8-10 game schedule, primarily against schools that are members of the Friends' School League, the Delaware Independent School Conference, or the InterAC. Our middle school coaches are also classroom teachers, building strong relationships with their student-athletes in the classroom and on the playing fields.

Coach Info
Coach Novak:
Steve Novak has been coaching lacrosse since 1990. He started as a youth lacrosse coach in Poway, California prior to moving to Pennsylvania. Once in Pennsylvania, he began coaching youth lacrosse for the Unionville and later West Chester programs. Once his older children attended High School at Westtown, he assisted with the Varsity lacrosse program. He started lacrosse at the age of 9, became a high school All-American, and took his football and lacrosse skills to Hobart College in Geneva, New York as a two sport athlete. At Hobart, he was part of four National Championship Lacrosse Teams. After college he played club lacrosse in San Diego.
A father of four Westtown Graduates, and married to a Westtown graduate, he is excited for a new year to start for the Jr. High program and teach the great game of lacrosse to all.
