Welcome to Westtown Track & Field!

Since 1982, when Westtown won its’ first Friends’ Schools League championship, the Track & Field program over the years has promoted a healthy sense of competitiveness and sportsmanship. We’ve established long term coaching tenures over the years and that has contributed to having a successful program. Our coaches work with athletes with varied experience. We have student-athletes who are novices to the sport and some who have been competing with outside clubs. Regardless of experience, all student-athletes gain an appreciation for the sport but also gain skills that will help them succeed in life. All of our coaches have competed in track and field at the high school level and some have competed at the university level. We bring that experience into how we coach. We understand the importance of hard work, having a sense of accomplishment, and having fun. We have coached several league championships and have worked with 2 individual athletes that won PA Indoor State championships and a relay team that placed eighth in the PA state meet and broke a school record in the process.
