Message from the Principal

Happy Snow Day!

As you think about school tomorrow, Friday, check with your children about what they need to bring to school in terms of hats, mittens, scarves, coats. Tell them T. Kristin said they would know! (We went over in Gathering yesterday how every child needed a hat, gloves, scarf and coat, and it was their responsibility, not yours to make sure they had all those pieces!)

Since the snow is on the ground, we will be heading for the sledding slopes. So in addition, please remind your children to pack up snow pants and boots. These items can be left at school for the duration of the snow if that works for you.

The snow can be a bother but yesterday morning before the sun rose, I saw the most beautiful landscape. The huge moon had given the snow a lavender hue, and the sky was pale gray and pink as it waited for the sun to rise. I hope you find a scene of beauty in the next few days.

Stay warm and safe,
