Parent Speaker Series: Jordan Shapiro
Join us on Tuesday, February 26th at 7 p.m. for an evening with Jordan Shapiro, author of The New Childhood: Raising Kids to Thrive in a Connected World. Mr Shapiro's book provides a provocative look at the new, digital landscape of childhood and how to navigate it. Shapiro offers concrete, practical advice on how to parent and educate children effectively in a connected world, and provides tools and techniques for using technology to engage with kids and help them learn and grow. Please register in advance for this event and receive a free copy of the book. Open to all.

FIRST Mid-Atlantic Robotics Competition - March 8 - 10th  

Each year the Westtown Robotics team hosts  the FIRST Mid-Atlantic district competition with more than 1200 competitors. FIRST is More Than Robots. FIRST participation is proven to encourage students to pursue education and careers in STEM-related fields, inspire them to become leaders and innovators, and enhance their 21 st century work-life skills. Shoemaker Visiting Lecturer Series: Pure Earth

Join us for an evening with Richard Fuller, founder and president of the nonprofit Pure Earth which is dedicated to solving pollution problems in low- and middle-income countries, where human health is at risk. Mr. Fuller initiated and now leads the Secretariat of the Global Alliance on Health and Pollution, a multi-stakeholder group focusing on pragmatic solutions to pollution and health in the poorer countries. The talk will focus on sustainability as in issue of social justice. This event which takes place in the Barton Test Theater is free and open to all.

Innovation Day at Westtown School

Sunday, April 14th at 1:00 pm
Join us for an afternoon to design, collaborate, make, build, invent, and have FUN!
This is a free event and open to students aged 8-12.  Innovation Day will take place in our award winning Science Center. The afternoon begins and at 1:00 pm and will go until 2:30 pm. Pre-Registration is required and space is limited.
