After an extremely successful pilot program in the spring, we will be offering a series of SEED (Seeking Educational Equity and Diversity) seminars for parents once again. These sessions explore topics of race, ethnicity, class, gender, and identity. Through personal reflection and testimony, listening to others' voices, and learning experientially and collectively, SEED equips us to connect our lives to one another and to society at large by acknowledging systems of oppression, power, and privilege—and challenges participants to advocate for change.
