Mondays

Penn Fusion Soccer (2nd - 5th grade)

Established in 2009, Penn Fusion Soccer Academy has quickly become one of the nation’s elite soccer organizations. Penn Fusion will provide a top-notch coach from their professional organization, and improve skills for every level of player. Class ends at 4:45 p.m.

Level 7 Tennis (PC - 5th grade)

An introduction to tennis that will teach balance, hand-eye coordination exercises, and basic swing exercises. Our goal is to help each child realize their personal excellence on the court through simple and easy-to -understand instructions. Our teaching method focuses on targeting one key area at a time while keeping a long-term vision of higher excellence for the student. Class ends at 4:45 p.m.


Tuesdays

Ultimate Moose Frisbee with T. Ken (PC - 1st grade)

In Ultimate Frisbee, we will teach the basics of the sport of Ultimate through guided skill instruction and gameplay in a relaxed, inclusive environment. Students will also work on learning important sportsmanship values such as teamwork, communication, and mutual respect; values upheld by both the Ultimate community and Westtown School. Ultimate will be taught by Teacher Ken, a professional Ultimate player and former coach at West Chester University. Ken is a certified teacher and USA Ultimate-certified coach who plans on integrating his Ultimate experience with accepted USAU best practices. MooseKids received a grant from USAU, which includes discs specifically designed for young children. Learn more about Ultimate here. Class will end at 4:45 p.m.

Girls On The Run (3rd - 5th grade) (Tuesdays & Thursdays)

Girls on the Run uses the power of running to help prepare girls for a lifetime of self-respect and healthy living. Through interactive activities such as running, playing games, and discussing important issues, participants learn how to celebrate being girls. The 10-week program focuses on building self-esteem and improving emotional and physical health. Class ends at 5:15 p.m.

Wednesdays

The Handwork Studio with T. Ginger (PC - 2nd)

Fiber Arts 1

No matter your child's age or ability, kids are patiently taught various age-appropriate handwork skills such as; knitting, crocheting, embroidery, and embellishment techniques. Children get to personalize each project through color selection, technique, and embellishments. Many different projects are accomplished during session and as your child's skills grow, so does the complexity of the projects.

Moon Metalsmithing (3rd - 5th)

In Introduction to Metalsmithing, students will learn the basics of stamping and chiseling techniques to create patterns onto copper. Students will have the opportunity to learn Turkish designs along with creating new patterns, while learning about positive and negative space. Projects will include keychains, medallions, coasters, and plates. This class will run from 3:45 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. If you would like to sign up for an extended afternoon of Metals with T. Martin, please make sure to register for the 3:45 p.m. class and the 5:00 p.m. class. In order for these classes to run, there must be a minimum of five participants.
