MFA, Brooklyn College of the City University of New York
This is my second stint at Westtown, where I was an intern and theater teacher from 1999-2002. The 14 years away were filled with many adventures. I spent ten years running Bakerloo Theatre Project, a summer theater company in upstate New York. I taught about the history of New York at the New-York Historical Society, and ran teen programs for The Children's Museum of Manhattan. I taught acting and directing at Marymount Manhattan College, Brooklyn College, and NYU, and taught communications at Bronx Community College. I've been a guest teacher and director at a variety of theaters and schools, from the McCarter Theatre in Princeton, NJ to the United States Military Academy at West Point. After four years as Director of Theater at Worcester Academy, I am thrilled to be back at Westtown. In my free time, I hang out with Jeff (my dog), read, cheer for the Yankees, look for unusual restaurants and interesting foods, and enjoy my small but growing record collection.
