Westtown School's STEAM Day 

Who: All 2nd - 5th graders
WhenSunday April 9th 1:00pm - 4:00pm
Where: Westtown Science Center  

Join us for an afternoon of creativity and innovation at Westtown’s STEAM Day. This is an opportunity for students and families outside the Westtown community to experience our Action Based Education. It is a free event and open to 2nd - 5th graders. Participants will explore Science, Technology, Engineering, Art & Math in Westtown's state-of-the-art Science Center. Pre-Registration is required and space is limited.

Mindfulness Series for Adults 

Who: Any Adult
When: Mondays in April from 9 - 10 am

From board rooms to classrooms, this ancient, secular practice of paying attention to the present moment with kindness and no judgment is getting people to both sit up and take notice. 

Come learn about - and practice -mindfulness from a trained mindfulness instructor. Please register for this 4 week series.  We encourage participants to attend all classes. 

An Evening with Documentary Producers  

Who: Open to All 
When: Thursday, April 6th at 7:30 pm 
 Where: Westtown Barton-Test Theater 

The award-winning team of Gary Cohen, Larry Platt, and Nikki Usbay McDonald, whose work has been featured on A+E, ESPN, Fox, CNBC, MTV and many other networks, will share their experiences with us.  The group will talk about  the work that goes into creating award-winning documentaries such as Requiem for the Big East,  MSNBC's Pot Barons of Colorado, and many others.  They will explain what convinced them to make a film about Westtown and share a sneak peek of it.  This event is free and open to the public.
