As You Like it A Musical Adaptation of William Shakespeare’s play by Shaina Taub and Laurie Woolery
Rosalind has been abandoned by her father and forced to live a life she does not want. Orlando feels lost, purposeless, and forgotten. As they try to forge their own identities against societal pressures, they discover the transformative power of love and community. Created for the Public Theater's Public Works project in 2017, this production cracks open Shakespeare's classic comedy to find new meeting for today's audiences with a score by one of musical theater's most exciting young writers. This will be one of the first productions after the debut. This performance is free and open to all.
