The Third Annual Upper School Arts Festival
Giants in the Sky: Myths, Legends, and Folklore
Sunday, November 17th at 6:30 p.m.
Featuring performances by the chorus, jazz ensemble, string orchestra, symphonic band, fall dance ensemble, and Elements Dance Ensemble, and artwork by digital art, sculpture, and ceramics students. Presented on locations around campus. the Festival will begin in the Barton-Test Theater. Free and open to all!
Shoemaker Visiting Lecturer Series - Signe Wilkinson
Thursday, December 5th
7:30 p.m. in the Barton Test Theater
Join us for an evening with Signe Wilkinson who has been drawing editorial cartoons for the Philadelphia Daily News since 1985 and is the first female cartoonist to win the Pulitzer Prize for Editorial Cartooning. She has published two collections of her cartoons, described as having a "unique style and famous irreverence," and still draws five cartoons a week. This is open to all.
Westtown Science Institute's
Sunday, December 8th at 1:00 p.m.
We invite all students in grades 3rd - 5th to the WSI Robotics Workshop. It promises to be a fun afternoon filled with discovery and design! Participants will learn the basics of building and programming a Lego robot. Space is limited and there is a $20 registration fee. Register now!
