Naomi André '85 - 01/21/20

Naomi André '85 currently serves as associate professor in Women’s Studies in the Department of Afroamerican and African Studies, and the Associate Director for Faculty at the Residential College at the University of Michigan. Her research focuses on opera and issues surrounding race, gender, and identity.


Rebecca Kamen - 09/26/19

As a sculptor and lecturer on the intersections of art and science, Rebecca Kamen's artwork is informed by her research into cosmology, history and philosophy. She has exhibited and lectured nationally and internationally and is the recipient of various fellowships and grants.


Richard Fuller - 04/04/19

Richard Fuller is an engineer, entrepreneur, and environmentalist known for his work in global pollution remediation. He is the founder and president of Pure Earth, a non-profit dedicated to solving pollution problems in low- and middle-income countries.


Emily Carris '00 - 11/29/18

Emily Carris '00 is a nationally and internationally recognized artist for work on slavery and the Black female body. She is a founding member of The Art Dept. - a collective-run community space specializing in reclaiming history through vintage objects, art, and public events.
