Independent School Equity & Access Conference and College Fair

We invite you to the 2023 Westtown School Independent School Equity and Access Conference and College Fair on Saturday, October 14, 2023, on Westtown School’s campus.  This event is open and free of charge to all middle and high school students and their families.

Since 2005, Westtown has hosted this biennial conference and college fair with a goal of creating space for substantive conversations with students and their families regarding issues of belonging, equity, access, inclusion, and allyship. The event will offer a variety of panel presentations, student-led discussions, and a college fair with almost 100 colleges expected to attend. The panel presentations include Anatomy of an Application, Recruitment and Playing Sports in College, What’s Great About Historically Black Colleges and Universities, and Paying for College: Planning and Saving, Financial Aid, and Merit Scholarships.

Registration

There will be no charge for students, parents, guardians, or high school/community-based-organizations (CBO). If you are attending the workshop and college fair, you must register on the StriveScan site. Your barcode will give you access to the morning workshops and afternoon college fair.
