Fast facts about our Financial Aid Program:

  • We use a system called Clarity to help us assess what a family can contribute towards the tuition.
  • Merit scholarships are available.
  • Aid for Quaker boarding students is available.
  • Deadlines:
    • Returning Families: December 10
    • New PK-8th and Upper School Day Families: December 1
    • New Boarding Families: January 15
    • Applications after the above dates may be considered but Westtown’s ability to provide an award may be constrained.
  • Complete the application via Clarity by the deadlines:
    Returning Families: December 10

  • New families, indicate your interest in applying for financial aid on the Westtown School application for admission.
  • A new financial aid application is required every year and grants can change year-to-year based on changes in financial status.

  • All applications can be submitted via Clarity 
    • Those who file taxes in Canada will be able to use Clarity’s process for accessing tax documents
    • All others, upload to Clarity a recent salary verification letter from your employer, including all benefits, or your most recent non-US tax filing. Any other pertinent information regarding income or taxes paid may be uploaded here as well. Please provide translation to English of these document contents, if applicable.
  • Large financial aid awards for students living outside the United States are not common but do occur.
