We are so glad that you are interested in Westtown School for your child’s pre-K through 5th-grade education, where they will be inspired and challenged to realize their individual gifts in a diverse community. Through our application process, we encourage you to get to know Westtown School on a deeper level as we also get to know you and your child. We look forward to getting to know you!
The first-round application deadline is December 1. Please reach out to admissions@westtown.edu or submit an inquiry form if you are interested in applying past the deadline.
Begin by completing our Inquiry Form. This helps us learn more about your family and ensures that you receive timely information about our programs, events, and application process.
Let’s get to know each other! Schedule a call with our Director of Pre-K–8th Grade Admission to share your hopes for your child and learn more about how we nurture curiosity, joy, and growth in our youngest students.

Seeing Westtown in action is the best way to experience the warmth of our classrooms and the wonder of our 600-acre campus.
After your discovery call, schedule a campus tour at a time that works best for your family. In Lower School, we suggest an adult-only tour so that you can fully focus on the visit. Once you apply, your child will have the chance to experience their own classroom visit (see Step 5).Need help scheduling? Contact the Admission Office at admission@westtown.edu or 610-399-7900.

When you’re ready, start your Standard Application Online (SAO).
To complete this step:
Once you’ve submitted the Student Profile and fee, your application will be transmitted to us, and we’ll follow along as your materials are submitted. We will reach out to you to arrange your child’s visit once you have submitted the Student Profile of the online application.
After we receive the Student Profile portion of your application, we’ll reach out to schedule your visit. This visit allows us to meet your child in a warm, engaging setting and for them to experience a day at Westtown.
PRE-K AND KINDERGARTEN APPLICANTS:
Children meet individually with Tearson Morrison, Director of Pre-K–8th Grade Admission, for about 30 minutes of play and conversation, followed by a classroom visit.
GRADES 1–5 APPLICANTS:
Students spend a full visit day in their current grade, joining classmates for lessons, recess, and community time.
The first-round application deadline is December 1. Please reach out to admissions@westtown.edu or submit an inquiry form if you are interested in applying past the deadline.
All pieces of the SAO application listed below must be submitted in order for your application to be considered complete.
Outside testing is not required. Each applicant is assessed at Westtown in literacy and mathematics—or pre-K/Kindergarten readiness—during their visit day.
If your child completed a WPPSI, WISC, or other standardized testing within the past year, you’re welcome to include it. These results offer additional insight into their learning profile but are not required.
Questions? Reach out to Tearson Morrison, Director of Pre-K–8th Grade Admission, at admission@westtown.edu.
