The Endowed Faith and Practice Funds

The Endowed Faith and Practice Funds honor great Westtown teachers such as James Walker, Tom Brown, Charlie Brown, Jan Long, Al Hay, Anne Wood, Mervin Hutton and many others – leaders and mentors who provided students and the school with a strong and living Quaker presence over many decades. Income from these funds are used to ensure an ongoing focus on Quakerism in all aspects of school life and to preserve and strengthen the Quaker heritage of Westtown School.

The Endowed Chair in Faith and Practice Honoring Quaker Mentors of the Westtown Community
This endowed fund was established to honor Quaker mentors that made a lasting impression on individuals in the Westtown community. Donations to this fund can be made in memory or honor of a specific Quaker mentor.

The Faith and Practice Fund in Memory of Thomas S. Brown
This endowed fund is dedicated to the memory of former Westtown teacher Thomas S. Brown.

The Faith and Practice Fund in Memory of Charles K. Brown
This fund is dedicated to the memory of former Westtown math teacher Charles K. Brown III.

The Faith and Practice Fund in Memory of Mervin Hutton
This endowed fund is dedicated to the memory of former Westtown music teacher Mervin T. Hutton.
