We are steadfast in our commitment to developing intelligent, reflective, extraordinarily prepared, and deeply ethical human beings with an expansive and inclusive worldview.
A good education not only supports your academic growth and achievement, it also puts you on a path of self-discovery, of finding your passions and purpose. It prepares you for all the wonderful possibilities of the future.
Along with our academically challenging courses at Westtown, you also have opportunities to become a leader in the community, to participate in service and travel, and to make a difference in the world. You will also have a wide range of options outside the academic day to fuel your passion while having fun — a variety of clubs, affinity groups, athletic teams, performing arts opportunities, and outdoor education opportunities are available to you.
The joy of community is apparent the moment you come to our campus. Cultivating a healthy, inclusive, and welcoming community is paramount at Westtown and we invite you to visit and explore!
Meet Our Upper School Principal
Upper School Principal Jennifer Gorzelany Weinheimer joins Westtown after having most recently served as Head of Upper School at Cincinnati Country Day School. Her previously held roles include Director of Academic Affairs, dean, and English teacher at Friends Select School, as well as Director of Student Life at Tatnall School. Jenn earned a B.A. in Comparative Literature from Hamilton College, an M.A. in Writing from Northeastern University, and an Ed.M. in School Leadership from Harvard Graduate School of Education. She is also a graduate of the Friends Council on Education’s Institute for Engaging Leadership in Friends Schools. A former boarding school student herself, Jenn’s leadership is grounded in empathy, collaboration, and a deep respect for student voice. “Empathy is essential in helping students find and use their voices—to articulate their beliefs and advocate for themselves and others,” she shares. She looks forward to bringing her thoughtful, relationship-driven leadership to Westtown’s Upper School community.
